Together, with you, we must stand up and speak up for the arts. The arts are economic drivers that generate revenue. The arts are core to a complete education for our children. The arts are central to community vitality. The arts are part of the solution in Ohio. A research report from Bowling Green State University’s Center for Regional Development reports that in Ohio the Creative Industries annually:
- Contribute more than $25 billion to Ohio’s economy
- Support 231,200 jobs in Ohio’s economy
- Generate $1.06 billion in state and local tax revenues
- Generate $1.78 billion in federal tax revenues
Ohio Citizens for the Arts is committed to help you, your organization, and your community to continue the good fight for arts funding. Together we can educate and prepare legislators to be better equipped to make the right decisions about investing in the arts.
We welcome you to become a member of our organization today! If you are already a member, invite your friends and colleagues to join you in supporting the arts in Ohio!
